Before you buy a bike, it is beneficial to know your own individual frame height. This can be easily determined on the basis of the step height and this is how it works:
Take a measure tape or ruler and a book. Stand against a door or wall, hold the book between your legs and guide it upwards. You can now determine the step height (stride length) when the vertical side of the book is against the wall and you measure from the floor to the upper top of the book (see illustration).
Enter this value here (in centimeters) and then click on “Calculate my frame height”.
